WHAT'S INCLUDED IN OUR Testing & Commissioning SCOPE

Installation Supervision

Site-based inspection of civil, primary plant, protection panel, cable and SCADA installation against design drawings.

Primary Equipment Testing

Transformer ratio, winding resistance, DGA, SF6 gas checks, circuit breaker timing and contact resistance testing.

HV Commissioning & Energisation

Staged energisation programme, charge-up procedure, relay proving tests and 72-hour steady-state monitoring before handover.

Pre-Commissioning Checks

Visual inspection, insulation resistance testing, continuity checks, CT/VT polarity tests and earth resistance measurement.

Protection Relay Testing

Secondary injection testing of all relay functions, intertripping, auto-reclose and SCADA signal verification.

Punch-List & Documentation

Systematic punch-list management, test record compilation, as-built verification and O&M manual handover to client.

Our Process

FROM installation TO Energisation

01

INSTALLATION SUPERVISION

Review IFC drawings, inspect equipment deliveries, supervise civil construction, primary plant erection and cable installation. Weekly progress reports and photo documentation issued.

PRE-COMMISSIONING

Systematic pre-commissioning checks including IR tests, continuity verification, CT/VT polarity checks, earthing resistance tests and protection panel wiring checks.

03

PRIMARY EQUIPMENT TESTING

Transformer, switchgear and CT/VT acceptance tests per manufacturer schedules and IEC standards. Test data reviewed and non-conformances raised before energisation.

PROTECTION & SCADA TESTING

Secondary injection of all protection functions, intertripping and SCADA signal loop testing. Protection proving tests with simulated fault conditions.

05

ENERGISATION & HANDOVER

Staged charge-up of all voltage levels, relay proving under live conditions, 72-hour trial run and systematic punch-list clearance. As-built records and O&M handover.
