Our Process

FROM philosophy TO Energisation

01

PROTECTION PHILOSOPHY

Develop protection philosophy document incorporating utility requirements, grid code obligations and IEEE/IEC standards. Define main and back-up relay schemes for all bays.

PROTECTION SETTINGS

Carry out grading studies and prepare relay setting files for all protection functions. Settings submitted to utility for approval prior to panel manufacture.

PANEL DESIGN & MANUFACTURE

Produce panel GA drawings, wiring schematics and cable schedules. Review and approve manufacturer panel drawings before production to ensure design compliance.

04

FACTORY ACCEPTANCE TEST

Witness FAT including secondary injection, functional testing, interlocking checks and IEC 61850 GOOSE testing. Issue FAT report for client and utility acceptance.

05

SITE COMMISSIONING

Carry out primary injection tests, protection proving tests and intertripping checks. 72-hour energisation monitoring and punch-list clearance before handover.
