FROM ROUTE SURVEY TO Energisation

ROUTE SURVEY & CONSTRAINTS

Desktop utility search, walkover route survey, landowner access agreements and constraint identification. Cable route feasibility confirmed within 3 weeks of award.

CABLE SIZING & SPECIFICATION

Current rating analysis, cable type selection and specification preparation. Long-lead cable and joint items identified and procurement schedule agreed with client.

DETAILED DESIGN

Produce cable route drawings, joint bay designs, civil duct bank layouts, bonding schematics and installation instruction drawings to IFC standard.

INSTALLATION SUPPORT

Review contractor installation method statements, witness joint assembly, carry out drum schedule checks and attend sheath pressure tests and HV acceptance tests.

05

COMMISSIONING & AS-BUILT

Witness cable HV commissioning tests, review test data and compile final as-built cable schedules, route drawings and cable system documentation for handover.
