FROM ARCHITECTURE TO LIVE OPERATIONS

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

Define SCADA architecture, redundancy and failover strategy based on control centre requirements, security standards and communication infrastructure review.

IED & RTU CONFIGURATION

Configure IEDs, RTUs and protocol gateways. Develop IEC 61850 SCD files, data point lists and communication schedules. Long-lead hardware ordered within 2 weeks.

HMI & DATABASE BUILD

Build master station database, operator HMI displays and alarm management system. Configure historian, trending and reporting functions parallel with hardware build.

FACTORY ACCEPTANCE TEST

Conduct end-to-end FAT with simulated field inputs. Verify all data points, controls, alarms, interlock logic and SCADA communications before site mobilisation.

SITE COMMISSIONING

Carry out SAT on site including loop checks, signal verification, telecontrol testing with control centre and 72-hour operational trial run before handover.
