About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Protection & Control Design Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in substation and power plant engineering projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in protection and control design activities for HV/EHV substations and should be willing to relocate to Hubli-Dharwad.
Key Responsibilities
1. Preparation of Protection & Control design drawings for HV/EHV substations.
2. Development of:
Protection Single Line Diagrams
AC/DC Schematics
Control & Relay Panels
Interlocking Schemes
Wiring Diagrams
Cable Schedules
Terminal Plans
3. Preparation and review of BOQ/MTO.
4. Coordination with primary design, commissioning, and site teams.
5. Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications.
6. Knowledge of numerical relays and substation automation systems.
7. Ensure design compliance with IEC/Utility standards.
8. Support testing & commissioning teams whenever required.
Required Skills
Knowledge of AutoCAD.
Understanding of Protection & Control systems for substations.
Familiarity with relay schemes for transmission/distribution substations.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and within project timelines.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Skills
Experience in HV/EHV Substation projects.
Immediate joiners preferred.
